Sales Technician - Southern Manitoba
Location: Carman, MB
Duration: Full-time position
Compensation: Competitive salary + performance bonus + benefits + vehicle

North Valley Precision Planting (NVP2) is Manitoba’s leading Precision Planting and DJI Agriculture dealer. We Believe in Better - helping growers improve the performance of their farm operations through leading retrofit and spray drone technology.
As a Sales Technician, you’ll be part of a small, driven team that brings cutting-edge ag technology directly to the farm. You’ll work hands-on with growers to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and support them through every step of the season.

What You’ll Do
-
Build relationships with growers and identify opportunities to improve their operations using NVP2’s full product lineup (planters, air drills, sprayers, spray drones, and harvest solutions).

Engage with new prospects through on farm calls, referrals, attending tradeshows, hosting customer meetings.

Lead solution development — from quoting and ordering to installation, training, and in-season support.

Maintain accurate records in CRM, invoicing, and inventory systems.

Support field demos and customer events to grow awareness of NVP2’s offerings.

Travel throughout Manitoba (and occasionally beyond) to support customers and installations.

Stay current on product updates and agronomic applications across our vendor portfolio.

What We’re Looking For
-
Experience in agriculture sales, agronomy and equipment technology.
-
Strong mechanical aptitude — comfortable installing, troubleshooting, and explaining systems.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
-
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to handle seasonal workload and fluctuating hours to meet our customers’ needs through in person or over the phone support.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; QuickBooks experience is an asset.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract.

Current UAV pilots license and certification as an Agriculture Equipment Technician are strong assets.

Summer Intern
Location: Carman, MB
Duration: 4 months (Summer 2026)
Compensation: $22–$28/hour

As a Summer Intern, you’ll be part of a small, driven team bringing cutting-edge ag technology directly to the farm. You’ll get hands-on experience with the latest in ag tech and play a key role in supporting our customers.

What You’ll Learn

How to support and troubleshoot Precision Planting and DJI Agriculture technology.

How to communicate technical solutions and build trust with growers.

Sales fundamentals, customer service, and operational workflows.

Leadership, time management, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
-
Assist with planter / air drill / sprayer inspections, upgrades, and installations.

Build awareness for NVP2 brand and technology through customer visits and field events.

Take a leadership role in NVP2 field demonstration program with Symphony Vision, Cornerstone and DJI Agriculture spray drones.

Help manage inventory and maintain record keeping.

Travel within Manitoba to support NVP2 staff and grower customers.
What We’re Looking For

Currently enrolled in an agriculture, engineering, technician or related post-secondary program.

Passionate about ag technology and helping farmers succeed.
-
Mechanically inclined, organized, and eager to learn.
-
Valid driver’s license and comfortable working in the field.
-
Current UAV pilots license is an asset.
